The adjustable cast iron pad has two adjusting pad irons (two-layer adjusting pad iron) and three adjusting pad irons (three-layer adjusting pad iron). The horns are brought from random beds, and their standards and quantities are described by the equipment manufacturer. Adjustable horns are used for equipment with high precision requirements, which are usually used for metal cutting machine tools (such as fine lathes, grinders, boring machines, planers, guide rail grinders, etc.). This kind of shim uses two inclined sliding plates to move relative to each other, and then changes the adjustment height of the equipment. Adjustable horns, adjustable horns, and inclined horns are waiting for you to buy!

cast iron shim

The shim is an adjustment part for leveling and alignment of mechanical equipment and is placed between the cast iron plate and the base of the cast iron platform. After adjusting the thickness of the shim, the equipment has reached the required elevation and levelness. The horn not only accepts the weight of the equipment, but also accepts the locking force of the anchor bolts. The shim should also be convenient for secondary grouting.

Variety, type, standard and application of shim:

1. Inclined shim: used to accept the primary load, only to have the equipment leveling effect, the primary load of the equipment is accepted by the grouting layer. It is often used in container equipment where the precision of the device is not high.

2. Flat shim (rectangular shim): used for equipment that receives the primary load and strong successive oscillations, such as the usual steel rolling equipment.

3. Adjustable pad iron: The adjustable pad has two adjusting pad irons (two-layer adjusting pad iron) and three adjusting pad irons (three-layer adjusting pad iron). The horns are brought from random beds, and their standards and quantities are described by the equipment manufacturer. Adjustable horns are used for equipment with high precision requirements, and are usually used for metal cutting machine tools (such as fine lathes, grinders, boring machines, planers, guide rail grinders, etc.). This kind of shim uses two inclined sliding plates to move relative to each other, and then changes the adjustment height of the equipment.

4. Open-type and open-hole type shim: the size is the same as the usual flat shim. The opening and the size of the hole are 2-5mm larger than the diameter of the anchor bolt; the width depends on the size of the base of the mechanical equipment, and should usually be the same as the width of the base of the equipment. If welding is required, it should be slightly larger than the width of the base; The length is slightly longer than the length of the mechanical equipment base by 20-40mm; the thickness is determined according to actual needs. Application: This kind of horn is used for mechanical equipment installed on metal structures or floors, and the supporting area is small.

5. Hook head paired oblique shim: divided into upper and lower two pieces, used in pairs, used for equipment directly placed on the floor without setting anchor bolts. The shim accepts the primary load, and an anti-vibration filler needs to be placed between the base and the shim. The hook head horn can be leveled and then welded firmly by arc welding or fixed with a grouting layer.
